when i go to the mozilla plugin check it says out of date Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape "9.4.1" then when i click update it brings me to adobe's site then i click download and it says missing plug in and then i have to click manually install missing plugin and then nothing happens. what am i doing wrong? thanks

You might want to try downloading the full installer program from Adobe's FTP site, instead of using their web based download page. Point Firefox to: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/ Click on AdbeRdr1000_en_US.exe Save the file to your hard drive. When the download is complete, close Firefox. Go to the folder where you saved the file, and double click on it to start the installation. You will need Administrator rights to install it. Once you have successfully installed version 10 of Reader, the plugin check page should show it is up to date.
