I cannot be displayed the smooth webfonts ( through CSS3 @font-face ) on Firefox 3.6.12 of WinXP SP3 . The jagged font face is displayed. The same problem is not in IE and Google Chrome. And Firefox3.6.12 of Win7 is no problem too.

Please teach If you know some method which displayed the smooth webfonts on same environment.

You can enable ClearType system wide for all programs to make other programs like Firefox use it.

XP: Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Effects: "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts"

Thank you for your reply. It came to be able to see a smooth font thanks to your advice!

Please tell me if you know,,, Can ClearType be set only by CSS or JavaScript or other programs without changing the setting of OS?

I couldn't found a good method though searching,,,

You're welcome.

No, Firefox uses the system API to render text and other programs, apart from IE, can't use ClearType unless it is enabled in the OS.
