I tried to use Customize feature to drag the Home icon back to the left side of toolbar. The Customize window does not show any icon for Home. Just upgraded to FF4, not sure I like it.

Check the right hand side of the navigation toolbar, the icon will likely be there. When in customize mode, you can drag the icon from there.
