My current Firefox is 3.6.10. I want to upgrade to 4.0. Won't let me: "Operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items." Offers no options or advice. More info: Before 4.0 became available, whenever I've been prompted to download Firefox updates after 3.6.10, I would click 'okay' and the dialog box would just sit there and spin until I gave up and clicked the red go-away button.   • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded.
