Hi,

I've made a simple animation with jquery - some images cycle a bit like a carousel. In every browser - including IE 6 - this runs very smoothly. However, in Firefox 4 it stutters and jerks.

I have also observed this with other jquery carousels, and animations (fadeOut etc) made by other people. I have tested this on several computers - all seem to have the same problem.

My first thought was that this might be a jquery problem - however, it works perfectly well in all other browsers, including Firefox 3.6
