Sorry, Firefox doesn't have a preference for that. That is usually a toner / ink saving feature in printer properties.

I print it to pdf files directly (not hard copy printer). But because what was captured by pdf is 'light font', it's really faint by the time you print a hard copy. i though there might be a way, since i have to to this on 262 emails. too bad for me. now i have to use IE.
