Hi!

If I open a new tab by 'ctrl+t' or by clicking the '+' icon beside the tabs in the tabbar I do not switch to this new tab anymore but stay within the current one. I would like (and I think it was like this before) to change immediately to the new tab (why else should I open a new blank tab?).

In the options I found 'When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately' which is unchecked an which should stay unchecked in my case as if I click on links in my current tab I don´t want to switch immediately.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Take a look at this: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.firefox/browse_thread/thread/b1dd4bb18e566f63?pli=1

It ended up being one of my add-ons that caused the problem.

Go to Firefox -> Help -> Restart with Add-ons Disabled

If this fixes the problem then start looking through your add-ons and seeing which one could cause a problem with tabs. Mine ended up being the "FoxTab" add-on. Once I removed it, the tabs started opening like normal for me.

Hope this helps.

That was exactely the cause to my problem. Disabled FoxTab and now it behaves like it should.
