Since upgrading to Firefox 5 I've had the same problem of pages appearing shifted about 1/3 to the right. In my case they re-center when I either 1) re-size the window by even a little bit, 2) click on the address bar, or 3) click on the search bar. I tried deleting Firefox and downloading and installing a new one, but that didn't help. I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone has.

Have you tried zooming /questions/847465 or scrolling.

If you continue to have problems more information would help. Please answer in the current (or your own) thread:

  • What display resolution are you using ?
  • Exactly what is lost, and sides or top ?
  • What does it affect, does it occur with blank pages, or only certain websites
  • Maybe you could add a screenshot from
    • firefox 4
    • and firefox 5 so everyone can see what is happening.
  • (asked originally in thread /questions/847840 )

go to help at the top of your firefox browser an click on help then click on restart with Add-ons disabled, Firefox will restart as basic and it should be back to normal, then you can turn the add-ons back on by going to tools at tghe top of the screen and then click add-ons

this worked for my problem

Darren,
did you figure out which add-on is causing this ?

more options

no im still not sure but when i turned on all of the add-ons it seems to be working fine, i only tuned the add-on like java, microsoft, adobe ect...

Thanks Darren,
Although no direct answer for those with the problem at least a step in the correct direction towards a solution. I have posted what may be relevant tips in the thread /questions/847840#answer-212799

edit
Some users are finding it is the Babylon toolbar causing this, anyone wish to confirm this, or say something else causes the problem ?
