I just upgraded to v 5. The edit bookmark star in the location bar does not work. If I want to bookmark a new page, I click the star and it turns yellow. When I click the star a second time, it does not open the edit bookmark menu.

I have tried restarting firefox, reinstalling version 5.0.1, and restarting my computer. I use bookmarks extensively so I have you can help me find a solution to this problem.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
