Standard Navigation Toolbar Items Missing
Just changed my Windows XP PC on which I have been running Firefox for years, for a new PC with Windows 7 Pro. Installed Firefox on the new PCbut the Navigation Tool Bar looks different (dull grey instead of light) & 'Reload, Stop Reload etc. items are missing. Tried everthing from the 'Help' menu but can't cure it

"Navigation Tool Bar looks different (dull grey instead of light)"
- Do you have a Persona or a Theme installed? Change to the the "Default" theme; see --> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using%20themes%20with%20Firefox#w_managing-themes-and-personas
- If you are referring to the default button colors, they are now gray/charcoal and light gray at times, like when there are no pages to go back/forward to in a new tab. You can add some color to some of the buttons with an Add-on and you can also make Firefox 4 and newer versions look more like Firefox 3.6

- See --> Firefox 3 Theme for Firefox 4: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-3-theme-for-firefox/
- Add color home, back/forward and other buttons (like Firefox 3) to the Navigation Toolbar in place of the gray buttons in Firefox 4

"Reload, Stop Reload etc. items are missing"
Starting in Firefox 4, the Go, Stop and Reload buttons are combined in one button at the right end of the URL or Address bar. The button changes depending on the activity:
- green Go arrow when typing in the address bar
- red Stop ("X") button while page is loading
- gray Reload (circular arrow) when page is finished loading.
Separate buttons are possible:
- Open Customize Toolbar window by clicking Firefox button > Option > Toolbar Layout OR clicking View > Toolbars > Customize if using the Menu Bar OR right-click in an empty space on a toolbar and choose Customize
- Stop and Reload buttons will show separated between the address bar and the search bar
- drag the buttons anywhere on the Navigation toolbar
- order Reload-Stop will combine into one button
- order Stop-Reload will remain separate buttons
- or drag a "Separator" from the Customize window between Reload-Stop and they will remain separate
- click Done at bottom right of Customize window to finish

My new PC (Win7 Pro) has downloaded Firefox V 6.0.2. I was looking for a similar arrangement to my old PC or the illustrations in the Firefox Help pages. Now OK. Many thanks, Terry'
