How can I make the address bar in firefox be the same as Chrome - it acts as the search box as well as the address box

I hate having to hit tab or use my mouse to move to the search bar

Chrome: I love how you can just type anything and just hit return - it will do a search using your chosen search engine

YES: I know that if you add "google:" in front of whatever u want to search for, then the same behaviour is created

But, having to type 7 characters is a little too much for me!!

Is there a plugin app that changes the behaviour?

I'll be honest, because of this single feature, I use Chrome instead of Firefox - I still use Firefox 10% of the time - but that's because of other reasons

Thanks
