I do not want Firefox as my default browser but it does not allow the one required by my work to change and be the default browser. When using the work Browser every time I try to go to a new address Firefox jumps in and takes over. Can this be fixed or will I need to remove Firefox from my computer?

You need to set the other browser as the default browser and disable that in Firefox to make Firefox not ask that.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General : System Defaults : "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup"
  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
