Yes, this device detection extension on our support home page is used to detect your Logitech device for support purposes. Your keyboard and mouse will not stop functioning.

Firefox never really needed a Extension for mice and keyboard to work with Firefox on any OS.

Hi,

Please see this (Message 4 of 8 and 6 of 8).

To check if Logitech has updated the add-on: Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, click Extensions on the left, right-click the add-on and Find Updates. To go to the add-on support site, click on More and Home Page.

Thanks for your prompt help - I'm not that familiar with extensions etc. I gave up being an amateur techy with DOS 3.1

To date 1/16/12 My Logitech M510 will still NOT work with Firefox. Let me rephrase this: I can use it for any links, or if I use the scroll on the far right of the screen. BUT I can't use the scroll on the mouse to move any webpage up or down. I have a new mouse and have, also, tried to use several of my other mice and to no avail. I have gone into the Control panel to check things out there and all seems to be OK. Also, it states that the mouse is working fine. BUT I have gone into tools, add-ons, and it states for the Logitech is not compatible with 9.1 Firefox. Yet I was, also, having this problem with the last version too. What is happening and when will be fixed. Also, I am getting so many crashes per day that I'm not sure what is going on there too. Never have had so many problems with Firefox and I have been a devoted member since they started. HELP!!!
