I just moved all my bookmarks and history over from IE, but what I really liked about IE was seeing all my bookmarks all the time on the left side of my screen. Is there a way to do that with Firefox? It seems like a lot of work with multiple clicks or typing to just go to a frequently visited site.

You can open the Bookmarks Sidebar by doing any of the following:

  • CTRL+B opens or closes the Bookmarks Sidebar
  • Press the ALT key or the F10 key to temporarily display the Menu Bar and choose View > Sidebar > Bookmarks ("Bookmarks" checked=display, unchecked=hide)
  • ALT+V+E+B
