I upgraded my firefox to the 10.0, since then whenever I try to use roboform it will automatically crash and close. I am using 9.0 now since it is the lastest version that will not crash when using roboform. Firefox needs to fix this issue if I am to continue using it. I have always loved firefox but this roboform issue sucks a big one.

What version of Roboform are you using? Have you tried updating from http://www.roboform.com/platforms/browsers/firefox? If you do that and it still crashes, can you type about:crashes into your address bar, and post some of the crash ID's? (they start with bp-).

I am up to date with roboform. And roboform works great with version 9.0.1 of Firefox. 10.0.1 versions and newer of Firefox will automatically crash when I try to fill a form from Roboform. Roboform is no the one crashing it is firefox that crashes. Anyone out their that can help fix?

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.

Also, note that it's probably Roboorm's software that is causing Firefox to crash, not Firefox itself.

Natalie replied (2012/03/23 08:33 pm EDT): Thank you for your message. Due to a number of reasons your browser profile may become damaged and corrupted. The only way to fix a problem is to do a complete reinstall of Firefox and Mozilla:

  • Do a backup of your Firefox Bookmarks and other personal data (Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup).
  • Close all Firefox and Mozilla windows and its taskbar icon.
  • Uninstall Firefox from "Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs".
  • Uninstall Mozilla from "Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs".
  • Delete folder C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Application Data\Mozilla.
  • Delete folder C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox.
  • Delete folder C:\Program Files\mozilla.org.
  • Delete folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\mozilla.org.
  • Search for all folders that contain "Firefox" or "Mozilla" in their name and delete them.
  • Install Firefox (or Mozilla) again.
  • Install RoboForm Adapter/Extension as described above.
