First, you are running a very very old version of Firefox. Try to update to Firefox 13, and see if it helps.
If that does not change anything, then do these things for me:
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
And if you still have issues after that, Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Thanks Tyler, I was actually at 12.0, not 8.0 as I said.... Upgrading to version 13.0 seemed to have worked.
I had this problem and tried everything. I found the solution finally. Check to see if you have "arcadecandy" installed. Go to control panel - programs - and look for "arcadecandy". Uninstall. That fixed it.
I do not have Firefox or Mozilla. This uwavou started about a month ago. What is it? Its annoying, each time I try to go to a site it pops up. How do I get rid of it? Thank you
Gaylema, you are right, it was not a Firefox error. It had to do with a gaming site that I must have visited called Rival Gaming. I did a search on my hard drive for anything containing the word "rival" and uninstalled the app. That solved my issue
When I try to uninstall this program, I go on uninstall>Yes>Next then nothing happens? Its really annoying me and I have no idea how I got this program. Any other help?
ok so I deleted RivalGaming, and it only made it less frequent. I have tried scanning my computer with different programs and they've come up with nothing, so now what? I pay for someone to delete everything?
i had the same popup problem uninstalling ARCADECANDY fixed ti right away DONT FORGET TO REBOOT AFTER UNINSTALLING
