Firefox won't remember the username & password for Constant Contact

more options

Constant Contact upgraded their login this week, and now Firefox will not save the login information & password, even though I've set it to do so. Have tried all the suggested fixes in Firefox help. Works fine for everything as usual, but no longer remembers Constant Contact once I close Firefox and re-start. It will save the user Name as long as I don't close Firefox, but won't remember password no matter what.

That website uses uses autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving and filling the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

hello, the website specifies that the password information should not be stored - for a workaround see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and_password_not_remembere...

Excellent! That seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your help

Close, but no cigar. Stores just one login...

On FF13.0.1. Use Constant Contact for multiple clients. Each has individual login/pwords. The bookmarklet trick will store just one for you

I loved the convenience of having each client account just needing a username. See the logic, but will need to "print" a copy of the pword table for convenient referral.
