When I pin a tab for chase.com, most of the links open in a new tab. I then have to remove the previously pinned tab and bring that new tab to the pinned section. Is there a way to stop this?

I'm afraid Firefox cannot handle this. Web developers can decide whether to open links in new windows or tabs in browsers, see for example setting the target attribute

target="_blank"

But when I click the link, it opens in the same tab. It only opens certain links in new tabs when it's a pinned tab. I understand what you're saying, but it works fine when the tap is not pinned.
