I keep receiving Redirect Notices every time I need to redirect. Although it has a place to click through to the new website, when I click it, it simply reloads the redirect notice. This has happened for many different websites, so it's not the specific site.

Also, I already looked at the options button "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page." I've tried it checked and unchecked, removed cookies, restarted firefox, and restarted the computer. No dice. What do I try next?

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
