First, update to Firefox 16.0.2 to stay secure. Update Firefox to the latest release.
In answer to your questions, if you are logged into your youtube account yes it will keep a list of your visited videos. This isn't maintained by Firefox (or any browser) but by youtube. The solution is to either not log into your account or clear your yutube history.
As for your first question, I'm a bi unclear what exactly you mean.
