why does firefox block me from sites

more options

I used to use firefox but started having trouble accessing sites I regularly use like facebook. I went to Google Chrome and was not happy so reinstalled firefox. went through the process of adding exceptions and still cannot see a facebook page also cannot use the add on manager. Says my site is not secure which it is I use ESET as my security program. do you two not mesh?

I haven't used ESET, so I don't know what you mean about "the process of adding exceptions." If you need to allow every single domain used by a site, you will have to spend quite a bit of setup time. For example, on Facebook, you might need to allow facebook.com, facebook.net, fbcdn.net. akamaihd.net, and others. Does ESET at least tell you what is being blocked when you're viewing a page?
