If I do consecutive google searches, click on a link, and then hit "back", I am taken to the previous (back one too far) google search results list. Help?
I'm having a problem with google search results in firefox.
Lets say I do a google search for "cats" and then immediately after, do one for "dogs". Then, l click on a link from the google search results for dogs. After reading the page, I want to go back to my search results for "dog" so I hit the back button.
At this point, I should be taken back to my google search for "dogs" however, instead, I am taken back to my google search results for "cats". This should happen if I hit the back button twice, not once!
As you can see, I can't get back to the search results for the query I just entered. I am always taken back to the query that I searched right before the correct one. It gets rather confusing when google keeps taking you back to the previous search, instead of the one you intended.
This does not happen on other browsers.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening, or how it can be fixed?
Thank you, in advance, for your time and assistance!
Most Respectfully, -timextoxlive

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
