Some websites that have embedded content do not work on firefox. A good example is

https://www.virginmobile.com/vm/ukCoverage.do?contentId=coverage.in.uk.howdoi.sm235

This should show an embedded map powered by google that shows the network coverage

Although this is not the only website that displays this problem.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon like adblock plus is interfering here...

I've tried starting in safe mode as you suggest and the page displays correctly. So to double check I disabled adblock plus and restarted FF and again the page displays correctly.

I had tried disabling adblock before, but although I started a new instance of FF I didn't shut down all instances.

Resolved: solution is either to disable adblock or to disable adblock on the specific page then shutdown and restart FF (all instances) :D
