I did first a Reset Firefox to its default state without results. Since the problem happens when accessing only huffingtonpost websites and occurred first time only a couple of days ago, I applied the second part of the recommended suggestion blocking the huffingtonpost site from running scripts and problem is gone. Thanks a lot.
