Hello funstarling, if you have win xp (or xp with sp1) the latest version for your os is 12.0, but it is old and unsupported.

if you have win with sp2 you can install the latest version(26.0, now 22 Dec 2013), see Firefox 26 System Requirements

from 13.0 version of firefox and above you need win xp with sp2. Firefox no longer works with some versions of Windows XP

thank you

Are you not getting the email which is sent when someone posts an answer to all those thread?

Do you have someone available to sit with you and show you how this forum works?

There is some type of disconnect going on. You are able to create a new answers thread, but somehow you either aren't getting an email to tell you that someone has answered your thread, or you can't find "your thread" when you return here. You are asking this question, and people are answering you, but you don't seem to be getting those answers AND you can't find your way back to each of the first 16 threads that you started.
