I found found that each time I download compressed files using Firefox, the Firefox breaks up the file into multiple files. After the download, I cannot decompress the files downloaded. It sounds like that the item is decompressing after you download it. Please check your about:permissions page for downloads. Are there multiple attachments that you are downloading at once? Reset Firefox preferences to troubleshoot and fix problems Also please clear the cache and cookies by clearing the history.
