I use Thunderbird on a MacAir for my email and I like the Thunderbird Calendar too. I have an iPad and an iPhone too and it would be very useful to be able to synchronise the Thunderbird calendar with the Apple Calendar on the mobile devices. Is this possible? It would be very useful to be able to synchronise Contacts on my iPad, iPhone and MacAir too. Can I do this?

sync to icloud using caldav is possible for calendars.

with the sogo add-on http://www.sogo.nu/fr/downloads/frontends.html carddav is also supported to allow contact synchronization to icloud.
