I want to save my TB E-mails on a separate "Data" partition rather than the default location in C: Drive. I would like to know the following: Where do the TB E-mails reside now? Can I move the E-Mails to a drive/folder of my choice? Is there a way that I can set up so that all E-mails will be saved there automatically in the future

Thanks Matt. At first reading this seems to be above my head and quite complicated. I am reluctant to risk losing my mail etc. In any case I'll study it some and see if I can get up the courage to delve into it. I had vision of it being something as easy and similar to what I used in Outlook Express in WinXP. Thanks again

it is not complicated. you copy and paste a whole bunch of files and then you run the profile manger to tell Thunderbird to use them instead of the old location.
