I have an IPAD and we're trying to sync up my IPAD with my thunderbird email so that I can get the same emails that I receive on my computer-on my pad.

You need to find out if the iPad email client and the account servers support IMAP. Set up your accounts in Thunderbird and on the iPad to use IMAP, and they'll all see the same folders and messages. The synchronization comes from using a common message store on the email server.

You don't need to do anything to specifically link or synch the iPad and Thunderbird. You just set them both up to look at the same server.

This was extremely helpful! It gave up a pathway to know how to make the changes. However-our previous IT person left the company 2 years ago and we have no idea what the master password was so we are working through that.
