Before the upgrade to 29.01 I had my pinned tabs on the top left of the screen. And when I scrolled the tabs, only the non-pinned tabs would scroll. Now, after the upgrade, all tabs, pinned and non-pinned scroll at the same time. Other strange thing: When I scroll to the left with the mouse, everything goes ok, until the first pinned tab reappears on the screen. Then I cannot scroll further with the mouse. To get the other pinned tabs back on the screen I have to click on the < button.

Please try Firefox 30, this is not happening in this version. However if the behavior is the same please try to reset Firefox. This will restore the browser options to the default.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

I "fixed" it. I closed all "normal" tabs. Then I reopened them. Now tabs are scrolling as they should. Don't know if this fixed it permanently or if the problem will reappear. At least for the last 2 days it works.

Thanks
