Current Firefox versions require a Mac with an Intel processor and OS X 10.6. Firefox 16 is the last version that runs on Intel Mac OS X 10.5. You would have to update to OS X 10.6 to be able to use current Firefox releases.

Last Firefox for Mac OS X 10.5:
