Ah but can you see Lightning? Indeed, it is included in a new clean install of Thunderbird, but if you have updated from an existing installation it will simply retain your previous choice and you need to explicitly add Lightning. You say that the Thunderbird calendar is OK, so I guess that's a "yes"

I'm not a big fan of this addon since Thunderbird/Lightning can synch directly with Google Calendar.

Have you tried to add the Google Calendar? File|New|Calendar?

Says "Restart" after loaded but after restart nothing changes ? Thunderbird calendar (2) OK - Help please. Everything else works real well.
