Firefox freezes on my mac, comes back after 5 minutes. Won't quit even in safe mode
Just freezes. no idea. I've been using Firefox on safe mode for 4 weeks now and today even in safe mode won't quit. the 2 problems did not happen at the same time. This is only on my account on this computer, not on the others. Tried these suggestions on the mozilla troubleshooting support pages. clean reinstall, deleted my profile folder deactivated preload pages in the about:config preferences network.dns.disablePrefetch (no result, reactivated it ) cleaned cache, ... could it be my synch ? I activated it only recently.

MAc details: 2,5 Ghz Intel core i5 running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5
Other accounts on the computer have no issue, but one does. Problem happens even in safe mode.
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

While still in safe mode,
Type about:support in the address bar and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Then in the reply box at the bottom of this page, do a right click in the box and select Paste. This will show us your system details. No Personal Information Is Collected.
Note to all, when Firefox is sick, turn off sync to prevent the spread.
I'll try it as soon as I can tonight I'll turn off sync meanwhile.
