Google on Firefox goes Chinese
Do google searches on Firefox and I get English hits with Chinese writing mixed in, all Chinese writing for the top of the page items, all chinese in the panel on the right.
Run Opera on the same machine at the same time and make the same search and get no problem at all.

The McAfee SiteAdvisor extension has been reported to cause issues with text Chinese (CJK) characters appearing on tabs, so you can disable this extension until McAfee releases an update to address this issue.
What is your computer system and Firefox?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
