I received this message the first time I signed into my account tonight after downloading and installing thunderbird to sync with gmail.

A post came up from a moderator that said Mozilla doesn't provide accounts. Underneath that was the following instruction if I wanted to log a question. You must log in to your account to reply to posts. Please start a new question, if you do not have an account yet.

Is anyone else confused? I have spent nearly an hour and a half trying to make this work. It shouldn't be that hard. 

I'm just wondering if I'll be able to get back in to see the reply to this query. Please could I be emailed as well on mbhmbh1764@gmail.com as I would l really like to sort this out.

Signing into your email account has nothing to do with using this forum. The message your are quoting is from this forum. The message is correct. Thunderbird is email client software and not a provider. Providers provide email service. You obviously can log into this forum since you posted a question. What are you confused about?
