My Facebook page widget on wordpess no longer works on Firefox. It does work on other browsers and has worked on Firefox until the last week or so. 6/23/2020

Is there anything I can change to make the Facebook page widget work on wordpress? I have 25,000 followers. I have included a screenshot. All that shows up is a black blank widget.

My guess is that the widget is being blocked by Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) as a social media tracker. Try disabling ETP on your website to see if that makes a difference.

Hope this helps.

Hi Kathy! Just wanted to double-check to see if you still need help with this issue. I see that you marked my reply as the solution, but your reply indicates that it did not solve the issue. Just wanted to see if you accidentally marked my post as the solution.

When I tested the website in Firefox, I did find that if ETP is set to Strict mode or with certain custom settings, it blocks the Facebook widget on the website. However, with ETP disabled on the website, it seemed to work without issues. This is normal, since Facebook (and other social media) widgets often contain tracking code.
