Uso el complemento New Tab Override, pero ninguno para cambiar el color de los sitios web. La solución está en introducir en el cuadrado rectangular de New Tab Override, don indica URL https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=es&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjs9sTYi83rAhXKzYUKHaGNAWAQPAgI en vez de https://www.google.es/, que era lo que hacía yo. ¡Suerte!
