Tabs on bottom again
I am sure you are tired of hearing about this topic, but it has reached a new level in my case. While I was away from home for a couple of months, I bought a laptop and installed Firefox, and immediately got the .chrome set up to put the tabs where they belong. No problem. I got home and made the "mistake" of updating Firefox on my desktop PC. Shouldn't be an issue; just e-mail myself the .chrome files from my laptop and drop them in the same location, right?
No.
So what is the deal? Did the previous version use a different location that I need to find and delete first? Do I need to say additional Hail Marys?
Both PCs are running the same Windows version (10), with the same Firefox version (82.whatever), with the same .chrome in the same file location on the respective hard drives. In fact, both hard drives are M.2 SSD. So what did I do wrong (besides allowing the update)?

In Firefox 69 and later you need to set this pref to true on the about:config page to enable userChrome.css and userContent.css in the chrome folder.

I should have mentioned it before, that I did set toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets = true.
I have also restarted my PC a few times and tried a couple of variations of rain dances. I am not aware of any volcanoes in the area, but have a few virgins I can toss in if necessary (suggestions needed).
I suppose it is too late to make an argument for the most logical supported location of tabs, since it's too much to support a built-in option?
Once my ISP figures out how to maintain a steady connection, I'll try a full reinstall and see if that fixes it.
Reinstalling Firefox did not fix it.
Can you post the content of your userChrome.css in a reply, so we can check your current code ?
