Had to factory reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and reinstall Firefox Nightly. Now I can download pdf's from the internet but cannot open then. Not sure if Firefox, the 4 different pdf viewer apps I'm trying to use, Google, Adobe, Mi or Drive pdf viewers. It either comes up with error message in Chinese if I use Mi Pdf app or says "file could not be accessed, check your connection or make file name shorter" if I use 3 others. Any advice would be appreciated. It worked before the factory reset so not sure where the issue is. Thanks

In some cases it is a problem with the file name: it may need the .pdf extension added if Firefox did not add it while saving. I don't know whether you can modify the file name from inside Firefox. Maybe you need a file manager app for that?

Thanks. I can find them and open after downloading in file manager app (downloaded rather than in built one). Still won't open automatically from browser though.

Hello, Have you tried after disabling the Adobe Acrobat plugin here:

Tools > Add-ons > Plugins category

I hope it will help you out.
