Selecting AdBlock "Show in Toolbar" puts icon in status bar; sometimes 2 icons

more options

In FF7, on MacBook (10.6.8), the AdBlock icon appears in my status bar even when "Show in Toolbar" selected.

"Show in Toolbar" makes the icon appear in left corner of the Status bar.

"Show in Status bar" makes it appear in right corner.

If both options are selected I get 2 Adblock icons in status bar, one in each corner.

Deselecting both options and then trying again doesn't resolve the issue. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hi 20thCenturyFirefox-

Are you using the most recent version of Firefox? I'm wondering because the status bar has changed a lot since Firefox 4. You can read about that here:

You can get the most recent version of Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Hope that helps.

Thanks. But, as I stated in my OP, I'm using FF7.

I ended up having to uninstall everything (for other issues in addition to this one) and then reinstalling.

I'm not having the AdBlock toolbar issue any more (for now?).
