Hi superspidy, Have you looked at [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/latest-firefox-issues this article] that discusses issues with the latest version of Firefox? There is some information in there on crashes at startup that might help. You should also try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Try holding down ''shift'' while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should look at [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]].
