Why do I have close tabs to exit internet? I don't want to close tabs!
Every time I go to close my internet sessions, I'm prompted to close all open tabs. I don't want to close any of the tabs that I have open, so they are available immediately after starting my next internet session. I used to have this feature, but not anymore. WHY IS THAT? I usually don't have more 10-15 tabs open at a time and I don't want to have to re-open the tabs every time I log on to the internet. This usually waste 10-20 minutes of internet time and I could end up forgetting why I started an internet session.

That doesn't mean that you close the tabs in a way that they won't open the next time. It means that you are trying to close Firefox and still have tabs open and Firefox may ask for confirmation in such a case.
Does this still happen with this startup setting?
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox Starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time
You can check some prefs on the about:config page.
- browser.showQuitWarning, see http://blog.zpao.com/post/3174360617/about-that-quit-dialog
- browser.tabs.warnOnClose, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/About%3Aconfig_entries
- browser.warnOnQuit , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnQuit
- browser.warnOnRestart , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnRestart
You need not close tabs down individually. Use the file -> quit option on the menu toolbar.
You can chose between setting Firefox to display previous tabs on startup, or a homepage
Also if you start from the default homepage you then get a restore option, or can do the same from the History option. But you must not use the private browsing mode or you will loose the information.
You may also wish to update Firefox you are still on a n insecure version 14 according to the system information aside.
