Attempt limit exceeded. When trying to login or signup. How do we progress?

I am trying to recover my book marks from sync, but forgotten password and when I try to reset by email I keep getting "Attempt limit exceeded".

Also make sure to allow cookies for the accounts.firefox.com domain.

You need to wait a few hours if you get the "Attempt limit exceeded" error message.
