Very frequently, web pages will fail to load, and only the word "protected" appears on the top left hand corner of the screen. At other times, another longer error message is displayed on the top left corner.

if i close and reopen the browser, it works for a while, then it happens again.

Please provide a screenshot of both of those messages, especially the longer message.

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Any possibility those messages are from your anti-virus application or security suite? Might be helpful if we know which application or suite you are using?
