is there a way when opening bookmarks you stay on the original opened tab till done and only open when you click the tab

when opening bookmarks it jumps to that tab right away and opens. is there a setting so when you are opening bookmarks you stay on the tab you were on before going to bookmarks and those windows wont open till you click that tab>

hello buseric, you can try the following: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground. double-click it and change its value to true. now when you middle-click (or ctrl-click) a bookmark it will open in a tab in the background...
