Thunderbird 31.7 fails to recognise email group when sending to that group. Reverting to 31.6 fixes this but I'd still like to use 31.7.

Error message in Thunderbird 31.7 is '[Group name that appears] .....not a valid email address', or something to that effect.

does the group name contain a space? or have a trailing space perhaps

Thanks Matt.

An example of a group name that I use is 'Sydney U3A Choir' (without inverted commas). This is recognised perfectly well as a groupemail in Thunderbird 31.6 but not in Thunderbird 31.7.

Try it as Sydney_U3A_Choir.
