Can print E-mails direct from Thunderbird, not the saved E-mails
By business E-mail are saved the normal way: With the cursor on the E-mail, right click on the mouse, and save as XXXX.eml in the file of my choice. The saved E-mail is saved as a .eml document. Later I can open and read the E-mail in Thunderbird no problem, but when I want to print (hard-copy) of this E-mail I get a blank page with at the bottom e.g. 1 of 1 and the date and time, that's all. I'am using Ubuntu 16.04.1 (problem was already there in Ubuntu 14.04.X).
I hope you can help me out in this. Thanks beforehand.
Gerlof.

If you use 'File' > 'Print Preview' what do you see?
What is the 'Scale' setting eg: 100% ?
click on 'Page setup' button select 'Margins & Header/Footer' tab If you use Margins 'milimeters': set Top, Bottom, Left and Right to use 12.7 (twelve point seven)
If you use Margins (inches) set Top, Bottom, Left and Right to use 0.5 (zero point five)
click on OK
Confirm what settings you have used.
Dear Toas Hall, First thanks for your fat reply!!
Than your questions:
What I see at print preview: At the top of the page (left and right): about: blank
the scale reduce to paper format (A4). When I go to page setup, I have changed all the margins (top, right, bottom and left) to 12.7 mm. Confirm,
I'am afraid it sill is the same. On the pagetop (left and right)
about: blank
and at the bottom left 1 of 1 and right: the date and time.
I've located this bug report which sounds like your issue. It was apparently fixed for version 36.
Have a look at comment 45.
Thanks very much for now!!
I will look into it later, I'am not a it specialist so I have to look very carefully.
Kind regards
Gerlof.
