Unable to access several sites that require a log in on my Google Pixel phone
Hello. I just received a new Google Pixel phone. I have no issues accessing these same site with the Stock Google Chrome app. But I prefer Firefox for Android. Im able to get on these same sites with my Galaxy S7 with no problems. It only happens with my Google Pixel phone. Ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, wiping cache, cookies, etc. I also made sure cookies were turned on. Here is the site I am trying to access, as well as the error I am getting, as well as a screenshot.
Site: https://www.capitalone.com/ent-signin/ Error: The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

This error typically indicates cookies aren't allowed. Check your settings again.
Yes I realize what it normally means, but cookies are allowed in the settings for all sites. It works perfect on Chrome, and on my Galaxy S7 in Firefox it works also. Just doesnt work on my Pixel in Firefox.
The website seems to break because of the Android 7.1 part of Firefox's user agent. This would be a website bug.
The way to work around this is to type about:config into the address bar and press enter.
- in about:config settings
- press the star button to create a new pref
- for the name use the following bullet. Make sure that your keyboard does not insert spaces after the '.' character. Capitalization matters as well.
- general.useragent.override
- tap the word boolean and select string
- in the string section place the following bullet
- Mozilla/5.0 (Android 7.0; Mobile; rv:49.0) Gecko/49.0 Firefox/49.0
- Press the Create button
- every few months you may need to update the 49 part of the user agent to the current Firefox version as website may complain about you using an 'out dated' version of Firefox.
