How can set up a chat service, what is irc and do I open an account
I went to look at thunderbird im not really sure what it is. Saw a chat group thing...thought id join and it asked me to give over details of my chat service Well, I dont have , I think It said IRC was a thunderbird product so thought join that but dont know how to...As you may have guessed not good with social media stuff, Any help would be good. Thanks in Advance

There are other methods of using IRC such as from browsers like Firefox using possibly an add-on or a website like mibbit. Using it in Thunderbird is explained in
