When i go to my local news sites, after about 5 to 10 seconds, i get a congrats page that says i won. I cant go back to the original page using the back button, I can close it, i can type in google.com and go to google. But everytime i go to the site it pops up. Proads or something like that. I clear my history and addons and well everything fox will let me clear. I also ran virus and malware scans. Nothing will stop this..

This is on Android:

Is the ad opening in a new tab? You can tap the box with the number of tabs to check whether the page you were viewing it still available in a different tab, and close the unwanted tab from that screen.

Otherwise, you could consider trying an ad blocking extension. I don't know which ones work on Android. You can start a search using:

Menu > Add-ons > Browse all Firefox Add-ons

I suppose on your way there, make sure there's nothing unexpected on your list of existing add-ons.
